I finished it! It wasn’t much work at all. I just needed a good shove and a deadline to make it happen. I found this magazine rack a the Goodwill a few weeks ago. A bargain at $4.00. Great condition. Hard wood and no wobbles. All it needed was a good scrubbing and a few coats of paint. Black is my favorite right now.
Here are the before photos:
A couple coats of Rust-oleum Satin Spray Paint in BLACK and project done!!
Now I will just walk it all over the house to see where it looks the best.
Thank you Procrastinator’s Party for getting my you know what in gear!

I love it. Black is my favorite color for furniture too. It is terrible though for dust. I hate dusting it all the time.
I love black so much that I would paint my dining room black if my buffet wasn't black. It looks so dynamic in a room.
Where it the final resting place for the magazine rack?
Black paint rocks!!! I use more black paint than any other color. That magazine rack sure looks great...enjoy it!
Blessings,
Linda
It looks so much more up-to-date with that coat of black paint on it! Great job, Lisa!
It looks great! I really could use one of these myself.

First of all, Pickles and Cheese is so cute, and grabs your attention. Second, how sharp that magazine rack looks now!
Isn't it amazing how anything looks so much more sophisticated when it's painted black? Your magazine rack is totally transformed! Great job. :)
Ya done good. Looks like it came straight from Pottery Barn.
I am loving Goodwill! It looks great with its new color. And what a great place to store all of your lovely magazines.
