It’s Honey Bell Time

Honey Bell Oranges 003 My Cushman’s Honey Bells are here!  Have you ever had one of these?    So delicious and unbelievably juicy.  They are a cross between a Duncan Grapefruit and and a Dancy Tangerine and oh baby are they good!  They are only available this time of year.  I order mine each year from QVC.

Honey Bell Oranges 005

I am probably going to have to juice the ones I want to eat.   I just got two new wires on my braces today and my teeth are more than a little bit tender.  Smoothies  and juiced Honey Bells for me for the next few days.  Could be worse.  :)

  4. I’ve never had them but I love oranges, grapefruits and tangerines so I know I would love them. Braces huh? I am sorry. I had them for 8 years when I was young. I remember those days :( It’s all worth it in the end.

  6. Never heard of such a thing! I'm dying to try them, though. Do you think I can find the in the grocery? I'm going today and keeping my eyes peeled. If not, I may be clicking over to QVC when I get home!

  8. I've seen these on QVC a number of times, but they only show how juicy they are so I thought they were strictly juice oranges. You make is sound like they're good to eat too. I'm not a tangerine or grapefruit fan, but I love oranges and clementines. Please swing by my blog and let me know how these compare?

  9. A friend gave me one several years ago and it was delicious. I have never seen them in the grocery stores though. Smoothies made from them sounds wonderful.
