I won a Giveaway!   When you get a minute, stop by for a visit at SPLENDID MARKET.  Emily has a wonderful blog that touches on all the things I like.  You will find a little bit of everything there like hosting fantastic parties, recipes,  flowers, gardening,  and traveling the world. 

So what did I win?  I am now the happy owner of my very own set of Restaurant Reader Glasses.  Have  you seen them on TV yet?  They have lights built into them to illuminate the menu.  I can’t wait to test them out in the presence of my teen/young adult children.  :)  I can hear it now, “Mom!  You are not really going to wear those in public are you?!”

    Awww man, Lisa! I soooo need a pair of them!!!!

    It's getting so bad for me seeing menus in dimly lit restaurants. I did get Hubby one of those lighted "credit card" readers for C'mas. I'm sure he wouldn't be caught dead in those lighted readers! LOL I'm sure my teenage and young adult children will have the same reaction as yours!

    Um.... Is there any danger of blinding the person sitting across the table? I'd like to get some of those and quietly get them out of my purse some evening when I'm out to eat with a bunch of people and see if anybody comments... fun!

    Hello Lisa! They got to you so quickly!! I'm so glad you like them. I think they are great looking glasses -- I wear them on a regular basis and then of course I LOVE the lights when I need them! They are great for my middle of the night wanderings!! My post on the giveaway is still a couple of days out! Happy New Year! Emily

    I think you look wonderful in your restaurant reader glasses! What a great idea. And a way to embarrass the kids too?! I definitely think I see a pair of these in my future.
