Husband is out of town and of course, that is when storms come through, electricity is lost, and things like hot water heaters break.
And it’s Furniture Market in High Point, NC this week so I am very busy helping stores sell lots of cheese.
So I bought myself some pink tulips and now I am waiting for the Water Heater Man. I am not fun to be around when I don’t have all the modern conveniences at my fingertips. :)
Hopefully your heaters start working again soon!! I hate when we loose power too! lol. The Tulips are beautiful!! I can't wait for warm weather!!
ReplyDeleteThe tulips are so pretty and springy! Love that vase! Hopefully the water heater guy will get their soon!
ReplyDeleteTulips and Daffodils are my favorite Spring flowers, Lisa! These pink ones are so cheery looking.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers with the sunshine streaming in look so inviting. This could almost make you forget about the water heater! Almost...
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping that your water heater gets fixed right quick.
ReplyDelete(the tulips are *gorgeous*.... kinda hard to focus on the bad when there are beautiful tulips in this post)
Pretty tulips! It's always something, isn't it?! Nice you treated yourself to purdy flowers. Hope you're not waiting too long for that repairman. ;o)
ReplyDeleteIsn't timing great... Hope it's a quick fix! Lovin' your tulips:@)
ReplyDeleteAll my household calamities always happened when my man was out of town...always!
ReplyDeleteHope you have hot water soon.

Ah, those tulips are beautiful! Sorry you've had a rotten week so far. I remember all to well the hustle and bustle of furniture market. Ugh! Thankfully, it only lasts a week! Hope the rest of your week gets better.
ReplyDeleteOh my! Can I have your permission to save that tulip photo and possibly paint it some day? Its gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh how I hate losing electricity. We have no hot water when that happens. Cold showers in New England are not fun. Good luck with your water heater issue. On a brighter note your tulips are lovely.
ReplyDeletebut you DID have your modern camera to snap these lovely photos! i hope everything is back to normal soon.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the storm. We had one blow through this week too and lost electricity for a few hours. Luckily it was almost bedtime so it didn't interfere with life too much.
ReplyDeleteHope you got the water heater fixed!
Jane
Isn't it amazing how much you miss an appliance when it doesn't work? The worst part is waiting for the repairmen to come. Around here they love to give "windows of time" that go on for most of the day. Grrr.
ReplyDeleteOn a positive note, your tulips are stunning. ;)
