It is a gorgeous day here in sunny NC and since it is October 1st it was time to bring out some of the Halloween decorations. The sun has faded my plastic Target pumpkins I have noticed so I might need to invest in some bright orange spray paint and perk them up.
Inside I brought out the Harlequin orange and black candles. And here is my witch’s shoe votive holder that I have had for several years. I got it at a great gift shop that has since closed. Isn’t that always the way it goes…you find a great shop and then you blink and it is gone.
I like the candy corn heel. :)
And I picked up another pumpkin to make it three. They last forever on the mulch under the crabapple tree. If I put them on the porch the afternoon sun pretty much cooks them. This way I can keep them around till Thanksgiving if I don’t carve them for Trick or Treat night. I still need to pick up some mums…maybe this weekend.
Want to see more Fall decorations, pop over to Rhoda's Southern Hospitality where she is having an "It's Fall Y'all!" party. It links you to all kinds of other blogs with Fall decorations.
