We stopped by the Farmers’ Market again today to get some fresh corn for dinner tonight. We bought some from a Farmer who had backed his pick up truck into his space and was selling it right from the bed of his truck. He said all of his corn was still growing in his field less than an hour ago. And I believe him. Can’t wait to taste it tonight. I also found these mini peppers at another booth today. I told the Farmer of these little gems that they were the cutest thing I’d seen all day. He got a big grin on his face and told me this is the first year he’s grown them. He said he saw the seeds in a catalog and thought he’d give them a try. He told me they are really sweet tasting. Each pepper is perfect. They are firm, blemish free, and the color is just beautiful. And they photograph well which I think is very important!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

How fun and dinner will be great! Those peppers are beautiful, do you have plans for them, I hope they are big enough to stuff!
That is the best way to buy corn. We get ours at a little stand right next to the corn. Those peppers are cute!
Dear Lisa,
What gorgeous pictures.
I see we have a lot in common: dog (dogs in my case) that shed non-stop, hate housework, love tomatoes and herbs, and of course we have Paris.
Teen years are past and I don't know how to make pickles. So there you have it.
Thank you for your visit.
They look delectable, Lisa. What did you make with them? Hope you bought extras just for decoration! LOL
No GTKY Sunday:) Hee Hee! The peppers look wonderful and I don't even eat them. Don't you just love fresh veggies from the garden?
This is exactly why I love, love, LOVE summer!! The fresh vegetables are ahmazing and makes eating fresh food such a joy! I just discovered the State Farmer's Market here in Macon and can't wait to give it a try. And Lane Packing has phenomenal peaches. Winter is such a long season with its beef stews and roasts....eating food that was still growing an hour ago is a unique experience. You could NEVER say that about a hamburger. I will keep an eye out for these little guys. I like sweet peppers. A lot. Doubtful that I've found them, but I appreciate you letting us know about them. At least I'll know it's not a tomato! ;)
Your blog is so great! So glad I found it : )
Those pics are gorgeous. Makes me want to plan a trip to our local farmers' market very soon!
Red peppers are so yummy. I love grilling them too.
These are so cute - like little stubby peppers. I can't wait to hear how they taste. I love sweet peppers! ox
