Peppadew Peppers Stuffed with Boursin Cheese

IMG_2133

One of the things I love most about my job is getting to talk about cheese with people.   So many of the customers that I come across are very well traveled and most of them like to share about a special cheese they came across while traveling in Italy or maybe while they were in Paris.   They also like to share their favorite ways to serve the cheeses they like best or what they like to serve at a party. This is how I came across these little nuggets of  deliciousness.   I can’t believe I haven’t come across them before and they couldn’t be easier.

You can usually find the Peppadew peppers in the olive bar of your favorite store.  I love their bright red color.  Simply buy as many as you would like to serve and stuff them with Boursin cheese.  I tried them with the Shallot & Chive flavor but really, I think any flavor would be delicious.   Goat cheese or even Feta would be nice in these too.   That’s it!  Place them on a serving plate or in a serving dish and watch them disappear.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE these, they are completely addictive. Why have I never thought of making them myself? Thanks for the inspiration!

This is a great idea. I see these peppers all the time on the olive and cheese cart at my grocery store. I will definitely make these for my next party.
