It’s a Miracle!

Oakley and Dog Spray 011

This is our dog.  Her name is Oakley.  She is a Joy. And she smells.  Bad.  I mean really bad.

I think she rolled in something.  I really don’t want to know what it was but suffice it to say she was not allowed in the house until she had a bath.

Scrubbed twice.  Rinse and repeat.

Much improved but there was still a lingering odor that needed to be dealt with.  The marathon dog bathing took place a few days ago.

Then I was shopping in Earth Fare here in Greensboro.  It’s Greensboro’s version of a Whole Foods and while it’s okay… I would do a major dance in the rain if Whole Foods announced that it was coming to town. But until it does…Earth Fare is just fine with me.    Anyway, back to my stinky dog…

      Oakley and Dog Spray 004

I found this miracle in a spray bottle called Dander-Out.

It’s made by a company called Earth Friendly Products.  It’s an all natural dander remover and body deodorizer and it’s made from plants.  It says right on the label that it is guaranteed to instantly remove odors and dander caused by dogs and cat.  Well, IT WORKS!!!

“You want to spray what?… on my neck?”

Oakley was especially “fragrant” around her neck area where she wears her collar.  Heck, I even gave her collar a good spray and let me tell you that collar was odiferous.  The obnoxious smell is gone .  Gone from her collar and gone from her neck area where I applied the spray.   I mean really gone.  Not just covered up but gone.  And I am so happy.  It’s so nice to find a product that really does what it says it’s going to do.  I love this stuff!

It’s hard to cuddle with a stinky dog. She is stinky no more!  And like I said before, It’s a miracle!

I LOVE your stinky dog story!
Does it work on husbands too?

Only kiddy. Glad your home is "sweet" again.

Thanks, I will send this to my daughters who have goldens that like to roll in "stuff". We have a whole foods but it is quite a distance. Wish there were more here in Michigan too.

Good info. I'm going to see if I can find it online. Our little terrier likes to roll in things too and a little spritz of this might just do her good from time to time!

Nuttin' worse than dog stank! And extra bad if the pup's rolled in some nastiness. Glad to hear Oakley's smelling better. Definitely will keep this stuff in mind for friends who have dogs.

I bet she even "feels" better - ya think?! Thanks for sharing!

You dog is beautiful! I hate when they get stinky... mine are small so I can pop them both in the sink... it's less of a battle. I like that the product you used is all natural too, I will check it out! xo

She is a cutie! I think that I will try and find this spray. Our maltipoo doesn't stink much but if there is a time that I don't feel like bathing him, I can spray him up for a day or two:)

So you found the natural equivalent for dog Febreeze! Sounds good. My cat loves it when I spray Febreeze but she doesn't otherwise stink! Good job.

She is adorable and we too know the "I think she rolled in something smell". Our dog is always so tickled with herself that she can hardly stand it. It's nice to know that Earth Fare has something to make it all better.
