My day started off nicely. My sweet husband had my coffee all prepped last night so that when I got up this morning, all I had to do was push a button. I LOVE that!! And I only had to yell upstairs twice to get my son moving for school. I went to work in the land of cheese and was in and out in record time. I decided to stop off at Costco on my way home. But first, I stopped at AC Moore (which is a craft and art supply store) for more black and cream colored paint because I had a coupon. (And then I paid for all my stuff and was back out to my car when I realized that I forgot to use that coupon! I do that all the time! It makes me crazy!)
Anyway, that is when I saw it. The car parked next to mine had…well, as you can plainly see…a big black rat in the rear window.
The things you see when you don’t have a camera. But wait! I am a blogger. I now carry a camera with me in my handbag! People will have to believe me because I now have proof!!!
Now what kind of person drives around with a rat in the back window of their car and shops at AC Moore? Maybe they were mistaken and thought they could buy taxidermy supplies there? I am baffled. And the trip to Costco was postponed. I lost my appetite.

Oh. Foul. Ball. Seriously?? Although what a fantastic anti-theft device. Who needs The Club when you've got The Rat (and not just ANY rat..this rat is STRAIGHT out of the NYC sanitation system). BLEH!!! I really appreciate the fact that you stopped and photographed this, risking a rat's owner's revenge. Who knows what she has in her purse??
That is one bad ass rat and NOBODY is gonna mess with that car! :)

LOL! Who in the world would put that in their car? Gross! I wouldn't have had the stomach for Costo either:)
I have a fascination with people who put stuffed animals/toys in their rear window...like it's for my benefit as the driver behind them? In any case, this rat really tops anything I've ever seen!
One time I was going down the road and a guy was on a motorcycle behind me. I kept trying to figure out what was on his head. When we got to the red light I took a good look and he had a monkey -yes a real monkey- on his head. I took a picture with my cell phone while the guy was laughing. Of course, being uneducated about the ways of the cell phone, I didn't save the picture. It was gone. I love to tell that story but have no picture to prove it!
Oh my, that is nasty! It would be okay if it were a cute and soft cuddly-looking rat/mouse with, like, pink fur or something. That thing is just gross. Too funny, though. People are strange aren't they???
That is definetly one "you have to see to believe"! I love the canisters on the tray at the top of the blog, did you make those? I love anything with checks or harlequin print.
thanks
Yuck!!!!
This is similar to, but far more disturbing than, the time I spotted Santa driving an SUV: http://www.fiercebeagle.com/2008/12/wilmington.html
Gross!
UGH! I would have screamed!!!
GROSS! I'm so glad it's not real. When I saw the first picture I thought OMG - VICIOUS PET RAT!
