We had a great day in Chapel Hill yesterday. First football game of the year. We picked up the new college student and took her out for some pizza before heading over to the football stadium for the game. The campus is beautiful and lots of great tailgating smells were in the air. Loud music and lots of kids partying in front of the frat houses. The Marching Band drums could be heard no matter where you were on campus. Our seats were not that great but we can't complain. They were a good deal. It was a sea of CAROLINA BLUE!
Our daughter needs to recharge her battery so we brought her back home with us for the weekend. She is a happy girl being able to sleep in her own bed. Enjoy the rest of your Labor Day weekend!

Football, bbq, and fall air, nothing better than that!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm always thrilled to make a new blog friend, especially one from the Carolinas. I'll be back often...I know what you mean about the kids needing to come home to recharge their batteries. Our son could always pace himself pretty well but our daughter...she's ANOTHER story. Go Go GO...that is her motto!
